Treatment to this standard is required when exporting to many industrial countries including the EU, North America, Mexico, China, Korea, Australia, and New Zealand.  The most widely used method used to comply with ISPM15 is heat treatment.

Documentary evidence is provided with any orders placed and the pallets are identifiable through a stamping system, this includes the Treatment Code, Country Code Registration Number and Forestry Commission Number.
